I’ve personally seen them in Sydney and Brisbane, but I hear they’re everywhere. Well, the 2st is this Saturday. Are you prepared for the end of the world? If not, are you prepared to explain to people next week why the world didn’t end? Here are some useful resources.
In general, Christians are really keen to use everything at their disposal to tell people about Jesus. However, this earnestness can go really, really wrong. There are no shortage of examples of Christians trying to engage with culture and producing horrific results. The kind of thing that scars children and gives them nightmares for life.
Something Positive presents for your appraisal: Christian puppets.
I have puppets that I use for Christian ministry. They are cute and fun. My orangutan Doctor Zaius will not consume your soul. But he might give you a hug.
I read a lot of webcomics. And why not? They’re free after all. One of my favourites is a comic called Something Positive. This strip is witty, well drawn, and very, very not PC. If you even the slightest bit offended by almost anything, then do not read Something Positive.
