A little while back, I spoke at our Church’s family evangelistic service. The talk was on Luke 19:1-10, the story of a tax collector named Zacchaeus meeting Jesus. The video is below the jump.
Back in the July school holidays, St Luke’s Liverpool held their second annual kids Holiday Club. The theme this year was “Willy Wonka”. Through an adaptation of the 70s movie, the underlying theme was that it is impossible to completely obey God on our terms and we need Jesus if we want eternal life with God. I gave four talks over the week outlining the good news of Jesus. I was assissted by the talented Thom Bransdon. Below the cut are videos of the four talks.
Sermon given at St Luke’s Liverpool dealing with one of the 4 “Solas” of the Reformation – Scripture Alone.
Here is a copy of the sermon I preached yesterday at St Luke’s. This is the “edition” preached at 10.30am.
This term at St Luke’s we have been looking at Christology. We’ve seen how Jesus was promised since day one, how he came into the world, how he died on the cross and he rose from the dead.
But what now?
Here’s an idea that I’ve been kicking around in my head this week. I was thinking of it as a model for youth evangelism, but a friend suggested it could be for evangelism in general. Let me know what you think.
